TURTLE PENDANT
This circular porcelain piece makes an attractive and unusual pendant. The
gold 'crinkled paper' frame was created by glaze chipping, where glass beads
are fired onto the surface and them chipped off. This removes the glaze and
some surface porcelain to give a typical crinkled effect; it was then coated
with gold. The rest of the design was done with a variety of china paints.

POSSUM NIGHTS pendant
Fine, light porcelain with a marbled lustre background. The possum is
coated with gold, detailed with black china paint, and shaded with (faux)
metallic gold.
This pendant is part of a series, re-worked from an earlier prize-winning
design.
